tree on antique quilt - 10x8

I love my little tree on the table and it was so easy! I was sick of looking at my photos and it was too cold to paint outside so I decided to paint my tree..........a crummy photo (again, I do apologize) but I simply couldn't get rid of the glare. One of these days I must take a photography course so I learn what I am doing.

Well-executed digital photographs enhance the presentation and appeal of an artist's work, and in today's marketplace they are a necessity for anyone interested in marketing their work efficiently. Indeed, artists, designers and craftspeople regularly use such images for portfolios, competitions and promotional materials. Through lecture, demonstration and hands-on work this program provides you with the basics of taking convincing, legible shots for your portfolio. We cover lighting, proper exposure, and proper framing. Working with digital cameras* and tripods (bring these to class), students learn many useful tips for photographing their work. Note: Bring to the first class 2 - 4 pieces of 2D art (20 x 24 or smaller) or some 3D art of modest size.

Tuition [Non Credit]: $150.00
Course total: $150.00

Yes, take that class, then you can tell me what you learned. I love the roller coaster painting! Haven't been by there in years and didn't even realize it was still there. I'll have to go take some pics sometime.

Thanks Liz & Kathy......Too bad we can't "audit" that class for free, huh? The roller coaster place is really crumbling Kathy - do you know what the amusement park was named?

Do you want that for Christmas? I never know what to get you...

Oh, Patty, I just love this. You should make it next year's Christmas card! And I, too, desperately need that class (I actually had someone tell me to stop complaining about the glare on my posts :0). I'm teaching a workshop on the 17th, so this is out for me, but you should do it! (Then I'll pay you half of what you paid for the class to teach me!)

Oh, Patty, if it's in Dartmouth, it would be Lincoln Park (spent many happy days there as a child!).
