king phillip lunch - 14x11"

I just love this place - I don't think I would actually eat there (very dark and dingy looking inside) but, visually, I find it fascinating. The siding is a vertical grooved metal that I have never seen on an actual building before and can probably be explained by the fact that they share the first floor with an aluminum company that repairs screen doors and the like.

This is a wonderful piece and reminiscent of Hopper. Very nice work.

Thanks "refugee" - yeah, where I live is kinda strange. What isn't sided with horrible vinyl siding hasn't been maintained since Hopper's time.
